Ski Touring at the Wilder Kaiser
Experience ski tours on and off secured slopes. When ski touring, you discover the Tyrolean mountains from an extraordinary side. The untouched, deeply snow-covered winter landscapes at the Wilder Kaiser or in the Kitzbühel Alps impress with their absolute tranquility and offer breathtaking views.
The feeling of freedom and lightness, whether on a descent through powder snow or firn, is unique and must be experienced firsthand. Piste ski tours are also possible in the Wilder Kaiser holiday region. A special highlight is the ski touring evening on the Hartkaiser.
In Söll, two special ascent tracks are also available for ski tourers.
Route 1 - SöllEasy piste tour via the family descent/Moon toboggan run Route No. 40 to Hochsöll. Daily from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM; additionally Wednesday to Saturday from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM. Last descent no later than 10:00 PM.
To ensure a pleasant skiing experience for all visitors in SkiWelt Söll, fixed times and routes have been set for piste ski tourers. Tickets are available at the ticket machine directly at the parking lot for ski tourers or at the cash desks of the Söll cable car. For holders of ski passes and season tickets, piste ski touring is free!
Route 2 - SöllChallenging piste tour via the valley descent, Route No. 40a to Hochsöll & further via the Keat descent Route No. 43 to the Keat Almen.

Opening times: 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Night ski tours: Wed - Sat from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
HartkaiserHartkaiserbahn parking lot (fee required for ski tourers). Daily during operating hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, latest arrival in the valley: 4:30 PM, after which the piste is closed.
Additionally, every Thursday (January 4 to March 14, 2024) ski touring evening on the Hartkaiser. The valley descent is open from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. After 10:00 PM, the piste is strictly closed. The cable cars request adherence to the times, otherwise, there is a risk of life for athletes due to piste grooming operations. The piste is not illuminated and ski tourers are responsible for their own safety.
The qualified state-certified mountain and ski guides are experts in the Wilder Kaiser region and know it well. Depending on the current snow and weather conditions, the avalanche warning level, as well as your personal skills and fitness, the guides plan the ideal tour for you. They impart important safety knowledge and ensure a lot of fun and an unforgettable and safe experience in the enchanting winter landscape of the Wilder Kaiser!
